Sanctuary Beach Resort Currumbin
Sanctuary Beach Resort. We stayed here in Aug09 and had a brilliant time. Holidaying with a 2 and 4yr old, we found the place clean, comfortable and great value.
We found this resort by accident and are glad we have. Beach front accom, no roads to cross with the kiddies (& buckets, spades, towels, drinks etc etc etc!!!). Very clean 3 bed unit, gorgeous parents retreat upstairs. Shady pool in nice garden setting. Nice quiet surf beach, kiddies played on the waters edge for hours. Very peaceful holiday. Currumbin sanctuary across the road where we spent a whole day. Riding the train, playing in the playground and looking at the wildlife. Heaps of activities for our 2 & 4yr old. We were not bored for a minute. Local milkbar also located across the road.
Local supermarket, a decent walk. Cab ride bag with the groceries. Spent each evening pushing the stollers to either Currumbin SLC or Tugan SLC. Very pleasant stroll in the nice warm breeze. Enjoyed Brekkie at surf clubs or a couple of groovy cafes close to Currumbin SLC.
Caught the local bus right out front to Pacific Fair. Arranged transfers with SeaWorld tickets at SBR. Easy to do with strollers and baby bags etc.

- Part of the Gold Coast, the town of Currumbin is located at the mouth of Currumbin Creek. It has a superb beach and bushland backdrop.
