Motorhome Hire on the North West of Tasmania. 16klms from Devonport airport and SPIRIT OF TASMANIA. Self drive and self contained
We are a small family run business offering a more personal approach. Our vehicles are available to ADULTS only and best suited to a couple.
Our fleet consists of 2 berth shower/toilet Motorhomes. Our vehicles are modern, reliable and comfortable.
Our rates include the often found ADD-ONS by our competitors such as: Extra driver fees, Linen Pack for double bed, Stamp Duty, LPG Gas, Outdoor Pack – table and 2 chair and Colour TV. Toyota Hilux Motorhome Sleeps 2 people Medium size motorhome. Compact yet comfortable, suitable for a couple.
Panoramic windows introduce a feeling of space and light, however, the all round curtains provide complete privacy. There is plenty of storage, including large stowaway areas under the dinette seats, wardrobe and other storage cabinets.
The vehicle features a solar panel which maintains the auxiliary battery for the living quarters.
Sleeping arrangements for couples are provided by a double bed over the cab whilst the dinette converts for alternative sleeping arrangements, i.e., 2 singles for twin share.
A full height shower room with its own chemical toilet ensures privacy and convenience. With airconditioning in the driving cab for complete comfort and power steering. The maximum sleeping capacity is 2 adults.

The vehicle is easy to drive. It was easy to park in the towns and cities we visited. It is hard to imagine that you would be able to fit a large bed, shower (inc hot water)and toilet, dining table, stove, regridgerator, sink, TV etc into this lovely vehicle. We still had plenty of room to move around in the motorhome. My husband is very tall but he didn't bump his head on the ceiling!!! The bed was sooooo comfortable.
It was so convenient to have our vehicle as our home for the 14 days; so easy to just pull up at a place with a lovely view and be ready to stay the night there. It made 'free camping' so much easier, not to forget the savings in campground and hotel fees. We were able to pull off to the side of the road and make ourselves a cup of tea when we felt like a break.
The owners gave us lots of information about the places that there are to see in Tasmania - local knowledge always helps.
I thoroughly recommend the hire of Paradise Motorhome as the best way to travel around Tasmania.
The bonus was that the owners also have Paradise Place BnB (Hawley Beach area)so we stayed there for one night before hiring the motorhome. It is such a lovely home with a private area for guests to sit, watch TV, listen to music and the breakfasts are wonderful!!! We found out that there is a service that the owners have for transport to the BnB from the Spirit or Tasmania dock (in Devonport)or Devonport airport. Check out that website as well.
