It's not the first time I've been on holiday to Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast, so this time whilst still enjoying the rainforest walks and the water, we decided to take a ferry-trip upstream from Noosa to Tewantin

Sitting on the lower deck at the rear of the boat, we sipped our drinks and obsorbed the afternoon sun as the boat cruised past the mangroves and bush of the surrounding national park.

The river is very calm and it is a joy to sit down, relax for a while and watch nature from our seats. On the way back to Noosa, we jumped off at Noosaville, one of the 6 stops on the ferry journey. We spent the next 40 minutes looking through Noosaville when the boat horn went and had to run to catch the ferry back to Noosa!

The cruise back to Noosa Heads was beautiful.  We sat kicking-back watching the sunset with our last glass of bubbly thinking 'this is what a holiday is all about!'

Noosa Heads
The well-known resort town of Noosa Heads is situated on the edge of Noosa NP and Laguna Bay. Not only does the town offer many beaches and safe swimming year-round, it is also the gateway to the stunning Noosa River Everglades and Cooloola NP.
