The Ulverstone War Memorial Clocktower is certainly one of the North West Coast's most well-known landmarks.

Constructed as a memorial to those who served in World War 2, the memorial clock also incorporates the World War 1 memorial which stood on the same site.  Designed and constructed by European migrants, the clock tower is unique in Australia.  The construction incorporates features representing the three armed forces, liked together by chains and surmounted by a traditional laurel wreath.  The clocktower was cleaned and refurbished in recent years and stands at one of the town's main intersections at the eastern end of Reibey Street where it is positioned at the centre of a roundabout.
