The region comprises of four valleys where visitors can see the award winning vineyards growing here to help overcome problems of frost. It is this careful management that has led to the local vineyards receiving many awards for their cool climate wines.

Of the four wineries in the Mount Beauty area, three operate a cellar door throughout most of the year. Two of these offer excellent cafes and the other offers the availability of a platter.

Just 2km down Simmonds Creek Road from the centre of Mount Beauty is Annapurna Estate. Visitors here can purchase wine and enjoy wine tasting while sampling the delicious seasonal foods with some spectacular views.

Bogong Estate is small winery growing only pinot noir as the cool climate here is perfectly suited to this variety of grape. Situated about 3km from the centre of Mount Beauty, the winery has a cellar door and deli cafe.

A Winery with excellent food located 23km from Mount Beauty is Ceccanti Kiewa Valley Wines. As well as the winery cafe, visitors can purchase wines from the winery's Cellar door.
