Wollombi
Wollombi, 80kms east of Newcastle, is situated in the Hunter region of NSW. The village of Wollombi is nestled in the Wollombi Valley. The area is rich in history and today has a good selection of cafes, accommodation and attractions. Things to do in Wollombi include experiencing the rich aboriginal and convict past, bushwalking in the surrounding national parks, wine-tasting and dining.
