Mundrabilla Roadhouse is probably the cheapest place to buy petrol along the Nullarbor.

We found it about 20 cents a litre cheaper than the other road houses, and so we filled up.  There were heaps of road trains pulled off to the side, and I was impressed at how clean and well-maintained they were.  Of course we had encountered many of these along the way: when a road train passes you, it feels like you are being sucked into the vortex of a wind tunnel.  The only solution is to close your windows.
