A quick dip in the dam is a great way to cleanse the soul. Sandie is getting back to nature one step at a time until she gets used to the water temp.

Yandoit
Yandoit, small rural town established during the gold rush period and settled mainly by Swiss-Italians in the late 1850's. Yandoit now has about 60 people and is in the Hepburn Shire and some 160km's North-West of Melbourne. The landscape is hilly with lots of bush. There are a number of small farms, sheep and cattle are the main agricultural pursuits of the farmers. However there are a large number of Yandoit residents who commute to work in surrounding larger towns, like Castlemaine, Daylesford, Ballarat and Bendigo. Yandoit offers travellers a great history and links to the past. The valleys, creeks and bush and the abundant wild life make living here a real joy.
