Jajarawong offers more than just restful holidays in our cottages and camp ground.

Naturists love to get-together and happy hour each day at 5pm. in our bar & lounge, or on the patio under the grape vine is not only an institution but something everyone looks forward to. We share conversation a few drinks as well as cheese, dips and other goodies. Five or six times a year we have special events, these range from an October Fest, the Melbourne Cup weekend, a New Years Eve dinner party, Australia day, Labor Day, Easter and our Swiss-Italian Festa. Each of these special weekends includes a great three course dinner, often themed and sometimes involving fancy dress.... can you imagine that? At these events everyone goes to a great deal of trouble to dress up and enjoy themselves. Perhaps the most difficult thing about being a naturist like we are is getting dressed to go out. I hate tight pants and bra's, and Ron hates socks and shoes, the best part after a day out is getting them off, when we get home.

Yandoit
Yandoit, small rural town established during the gold rush period and settled mainly by Swiss-Italians in the late 1850's. Yandoit now has about 60 people and is in the Hepburn Shire and some 160km's North-West of Melbourne. The landscape is hilly with lots of bush. There are a number of small farms, sheep and cattle are the main agricultural pursuits of the farmers. However there are a large number of Yandoit residents who commute to work in surrounding larger towns, like Castlemaine, Daylesford, Ballarat and Bendigo. Yandoit offers travellers a great history and links to the past. The valleys, creeks and bush and the abundant wild life make living here a real joy.
