Discover the unique Yandoit Hills wines while you join us for our tour of the Historic houses of Yandoit as part of the Jajarawong Swiss-Italian fringe Festa over the Anzac weekend 2008.
You could be one of the lucky people to be included in our Jajarawong Swiss-Italian Festa which celebrates the Italian heritage of Yandoit from the 24th of April to 27th April. There are two ways of participating in our tag-along car tour of the historic Yandoit area. You can stay at Jajarawong Naturist Retreat an all nude venue for 3 days and not only participate in the tour but also enjoy a fabulous Carnevale` Mask Italian dinner on the Saturday night or you can join us for our approximately 4 hour tour of the historic houses and wine tasting at Yandoit Hills Winery by registering with us and leaving from our property in Yandoit at approximately 9.30 am. Cost of tour only is $25 per person.

Yandoit
- Yandoit, small rural town established during the gold rush period and settled mainly by Swiss-Italians in the late 1850's. Yandoit now has about 60 people and is in the Hepburn Shire and some 160km's North-West of Melbourne. The landscape is hilly with lots of bush. There are a number of small farms, sheep and cattle are the main agricultural pursuits of the farmers. However there are a large number of Yandoit residents who commute to work in surrounding larger towns, like Castlemaine, Daylesford, Ballarat and Bendigo. Yandoit offers travellers a great history and links to the past. The valleys, creeks and bush and the abundant wild life make living here a real joy.
