An image of one of our Nation's most loved animals and national icon, the Koala. This curious creature spends most of its time sleeping. The Koala is one of Australia's greatest assets and can been seen up close and personal at the Healesville Sanctuary, around an hours drive east of Melbourne.

Healesville
This attractive town is a popular destination for Melbourne residents as it is just over an hour's drive north-east, through the renowned vineyard country of the Yarra Valley. The wineries are not the only attraction. Healesville is also the gateway to the Great Dividing Range with its huge mountain ash forests and waterfalls.
