Bogan Gate | NSW

Bogan Gate is located approximately 30 kilometres to the west of Parkes. Bogan Gate has a population of around 250 people, a progressive little village with a memorial hall, school, post office, police station, hotel/motel, service station, general store with newsagency and takeaway food. There is a craft shop in the old Railway Station which is open weekends and long weekends (Monday public holidays), from 10am to 4pm and other times by appointment. A great rest stop for the weary traveller is Burrawang Park, where you will find a children's playground and barbecue facilities. The nine hole golf course and night lit tennis courts also provide some great recreation options. Stop by Bogan Gate and tick the must-do photo opportunity with the famous 'Bogan Gate' off your bucket list.
